Custom Watercolor Pet Portrait, 8"x10"

 Pet portraits are a beautiful way to celebrate your very special animal friend.

How your pet portrait is created

After placing your order, I will email you with a timeframe for completing your order and to work out any specific details of what you would like. You can send me pictures of your pet by email or text (I will provide you with my phone number at that point if you need it).

Each pet portrait is sketched by hand first, and then painted with high quality, artist grade watercolors on 8"x10" 140 lb. acid free, cold press watercolor paper. The portrait will be a watercolor rendition of the clear reference photo(s) that you send me (*please see "Tips for taking photos of your pet"). 

Artwork is mailed in a sturdy mailer, unframed, in a clear acid-free sleeve. Your 8"x10" portrait is ready for framing or gifting, and will fit in a standard frame. A handwritten card and simple gift wrapping can be added at no charge if your painting is being sent as a gift. Please include this information at check out, plus the message that you would like to include, when placing your order.

**Local delivery or pick up is available within 6 miles of my location in the village of Dryden, New York. This option is available at check out.

Timing

Your painting is made to order and it may take several weeks for me to complete it, depending on how many orders I have in front of yours. If you would like the portrait for a specific date, contact me here or leave a message for me at checkout, and I will do my best to accommodate you!

Each portrait is carefully hand painted to capture the unique characteristics and personality of your pet. Before mailing the completed pet portrait to you, I'll send you a photo of the artwork to be sure you're happy with it!
